Inver Grove Heights, MN, March 2, 2010 – On April 13, 2010 the Minnesota
Chapter of the National Alliance for Thrombosis and Thrombosis will host its
monthly education forum about the Genetics of Blood Clots. The
meeting is 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Amherst Wilder Foundation – 451
Lexington Avenue, St. Paul, MN.
The presenter, Matt Bower, is a Certified Genetic Counselor at the
University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. Attendees will
learn about how to interpret their genetic testing results, how to assess
their families risk for clotting and how to talk to their family about
clotting risk. Questions and group discussion to follow the presentation.
NBCA provides patient education and professional training on the signs,
symptoms and prevention of blood clots and clotting disorders.
