We are gathering to mark the one-year anniversary of the passing of Anthony 'AJ' Weary. In September 2022, AJ underwent knee surgery, but complications arose. On September 30, he collapsed during physical therapy. Despite heroic efforts, AJ's life was cut short to a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung) on October 5. He left behind a fiancé, a 12-year-old son, his loving family, and many wonderful friends. We invite you to join us on September 30 for a Dog Walk to Stop the Clot fundraiser benefitting the National Blood Clot Alliance. in AJ's memory. Let's come together to honor AJ's spirit and prevent others from facing the same tragedy. Dogs are encouraged and welcome to join.
