Director of the Division of Blood Disorders (DBD)
Dr. Lisa Richardson joined the CDC Division of Blood Disorders as the Division Director in 2013.
As director, Dr. Richardson leads a team of professionals who strive to promote health and improve quality of life for people at risk for or affected by non-malignant blood disorders, including bleeding and clotting disorders, and hemoglobinopathies.
- The event will begin with Medical Grand Rounds, featuring Lisa Richardson, MD.
- A series of short talks follow, showcasing the various VTE-related research studies across Johns Hopkins Medicine.
- The symposium will conclude with a patient panel discussion.
