The National Blood Clot Alliance is thrilled to welcome Dr. Suman Wasan to our Medical and Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr. Wasan is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a vascular medicine specialist practicing at UNC Health Rex Vascular Specialists in Raleigh, NC.
Dr. Wasan is an expert in using compression to treat complications after deep vein thrombosis. She shared her knowledge of compression in two PEP Talks that were the most-watched live sessions as well as the most-viewed recordings on our YouTube channel.
“With her extensive knowledge of vascular medicine, Dr. Wasan’s appointment to our Medical and Scientific Advisory Board makes us stronger,” said Leslie Lake, NBCA Volunteer President. “She has already greatly contributed to our patient resources on compression and we look forward to her continuing to educate our patient community.”
