BREAKING: The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a new five-year cooperative agreement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With this new grant, NBCA will expand its efforts to increase public awareness about DVT/PE. NBCA is pleased to have the opportunity to continue its long-standing partnership with CDC and to embark on this important new public health awareness initiative to increase recognition about the impact of DVT/PE and to help save lives. Under this new grant, NBCA will engage, educate, and empower the general public to become aware of DVT/PE risk, signs and symptoms, and to act on information that will help them prevent the impact of DVT/PE in their own life and the lives of their family members and friends.
