This is most convenient as NBCA assumes a heightened role in public policy advocacy to advance the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of blood clots at the National level. Rockville is also the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland, which is home to many federal agencies of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services relevant to our cause, including the National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration and Food and Drug Administration.
