As part of a Cooperative Agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) launched a redesigned and accredited no-cost e-learning course for physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals. This easily accessible educational content aims to help increase understanding about the diagnosis and treatment of blood clots and blood clotting disorders. Online access to the curriculum, Stop The Clot®: What Every Healthcare Professional Should Know provides ease of use for busy healthcare professionals who want to enrich their knowledge about deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) at their own individual pace and at times convenient to their schedules.
