The Challenge Is On
The National Blood Clot Alliance is excited to announce that we’ve been selected to be part of the Revlon LOVE IS ON™ Million Dollar Challenge 2016. This challenge involves a fundraising competition whereby organizations that support women’s health causes compete for cash prize donations from Revlon. The top five charities that raise the most money will win cash prizes of $25,000 – $1,000,000. Placing in the top five would be a monumental opportunity for our growing organization. The six-week Challenge launches on September 14, at 12pm ET, and runs through October 26. We’re ready to raise as much money as we can so we can win the $1 million grand prize! Throughout the Challenge, NBCA also will be offering our own fun contests and incentives for our team. This is an exciting and easy opportunity to get involved with NBCA.
Why We Need You
We are looking for NBCA supporters to join our team by telling their stories and creating fundraising pages. By reaching out to your network of supporters to ask for donations, you expand the reach of our efforts and help us make an even bigger impact.

Revlon Challenge Update: What’s Happening Now
October 25: We’ve reached the 24 hour mark in the Revlon Love Is On™ Million Dollar Challenge. Our team has raised an incredible $20,061 of our $25,000 goal over the past six weeks. We need your help to raise $4,939 by tomorrow, October 26 at 2:00 PM EST. Please share our fundraising page, e-mail friends and family or consider making a donation to our page to help us reach our goal. Every share, every e-mail, and every donation helps us continue our lifesaving mission of awareness and prevention.
October 24: We have only 48 hours to go in the Revlon Love Is On™ Million Dollar Challenge. Currently, our incredible team has raised a total of $19,586, and we are determined to reach $25,000 by the end of the challenge. We need your help to raise the additional $5,414 by Wednesday afternoon. It’s a big undertaking, but with your help, we can do it. The challenge officially ends on October 26 at 2:00 PM EST. October 11: It’s week five of the Revlon LOVE IS ON 2016 Million Dollar Challenge and our incredible team continues to raise awareness and funds into the final stretch of the campaign. NBCA is currently 29th place out of 160+ teams having raised $15,561. Congratulations to team member Sara Wassenaar for winning NBCA’s Week 4 Challenge and taking on the first place spot. We have two more weeks left, and we are determined to make them the best yet. This week, the 20 charities that raise the most money online will each win $1,000. We need your help to win. October 4: We are excited about this week’s opportunity to win some extra cash for our organization. This week, if we raise at least $1,000 online, we will be entered to win one of four $2,000 donations. To donate, please visit here.
If you donate at least $25 between now and October 11 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern, you will be entered to win a $250 Visa gift card from Revlon. Every $25 donated is an additional entry to win. September 27:The challenge continues. NBCA is diving head first into week three of the Revlon LOVE IS ON 2016 Million Dollar Challenge. This week, the first 200 online donations of at least $50 will get a $50 match from Revlon and the first ten charities to raise at least $5,000 online will get a $5,000 match. In addition, if you donate $25 or more you’ll be entered to win a Revlon Hair Tools & Accessories gift basket valued at $300. Every $25 donated is an additional entry to win. September 20: Week two of the Revlon LOVE IS ON 2016 Million Dollar Challenge starts today. So far, our team has raised a total of $6,372 in just 6 days. NBCA is currently in 24th place out of 160+ organizations. The top 5 charities that raise the most money by October 26th will win cash prizes of up to $1 MILLION from Revlon.

For week two, Revlon has challenged us to play “Rock, Paper, Scissors” for $7,000 as part of the Revlon Challenge and we need your help to make it happen. The two organizations that raise the most between September 20 and September 27 will play in a Rock Paper Scissors match. The organization that wins the match will get a $7,000 donation and the organization that does not win will get a $3,000 donation. NBCA will also be offering a prize to the team member who has the highest individual donation by September 27 at 2:00 PM EST. Give what you can and help NBCA win $1 million here.
